Meet Our Team

Our team members are mothers themselves and have the ability to soothe your child during their time at our office, and woo them with a balloon or toy. We also have Spanish-speaking team members, so we can accommodate our care for many families. It is pretty unusual for a child to feel scared at our office with our experienced and gentle team. Danielle Cole (Office Manager)
Danielle has been a part of our team since 2010 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She enjoys the chance to see kids excited about going to the dentist, showing off their wiggly teeth, and running into the office to get to the playground first. Danielle likes that we are a smaller practice that offers a more personalized approach versus a corporate office. As our office manager, Danielle deals with all insurance companies and makes sure claims are paid out correctly. She also assists in rescheduling appointments, and really anything regarding the front office. All the while, she does her best to greet patients with an upbeat attitude and smile. Working at DVK is fun for Danielle, and Dr. Chris and every single co-worker make coming to work easy. Danielle has been married to her husband since 2006 and has a 9-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Her hobbies include playing soccer, cooking, hiking, and going on bike rides with her kids.

Monserrat Andrade Gonzalez (Monse) (Front Office)
Monse works in the front office and started with us in December 2016. She attended the University of Colorado Springs for a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Sciences. Monse is able to contribute greatly to our practice as she is bilingual and able to help us serve the Spanish-speaking community. Her favorite part about GVK is that we are more than coworkers, we are a family. So, she has really enjoyed working here this past year. Dr. Chris and her associates are amazing and really know how to make families feel welcomed and Dr. Chris does an amazing job with all the kids. Outside of the office, Monse enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has very supportive parents. She has a 1-year-old niece who is her world. She also likes watching movies, having game night, playing sports, and being active.

Dawn D. Martinez (Dental Assistant)
Dawn has been with our practice since 2013 and graduated from Pima Med School in 2003. She loves that we are a small, family-oriented office. Dawn is a very faithful, dependable, and caring employee who loves children. In her opinion, any parent who chooses to bring their child to our office is in for a big treat. Dr. Chris is the gentlest, most loving, understanding, and patient pediatric dentist they will ever meet. He gives each patient and parent his undivided attention by listening and answering all questions. He also has children, so that helps him to understand why some children come in scared and nervous. Dr. Chris does everything to make each visit happy and healthy. Dawn is the proud mother of 2 boys and her hobbies include spending time with family and friends.

Karla Rodriguez (Dental Assistant)
Karla has been with us since 2010 and has an Extended Duty Dental Assisting Certificate. She loves that our team is passionate about making every dental visit comfortable and fun, so that each child is excited to come see the dentist. She assists Dr. Chris, orders dental supplies, and does some marketing and interpreting. She feels extremely fortunate that she could be a part of the GVK grand opening and assist Dr. Chris with his first patient. Karla loves to be a part of this family. She has been happily married for 10 years and has two handsome boys. She loves lifting weights, running and road biking.
